Expression of Interest for the 2026 Link Program

The Link Program is 15 years old and well recognised in the community as an alternative learning program for Year 10 students who may have trouble engaging with traditional learning pathways.

The primary goals of the Link program are:

  • reengagement of students in school activities
  • provision of pathways for transition into further study or work
  • building of self-esteem and confidence to continue in training and education
  • reduction in social isolation issues and inclusion of school leavers into the community in a positive manner.

Link students experience a wide curriculum, including attendance at Mudgee TAFE for one semester, as well as work experience and opportunities for team building, in addition to more traditional Year 10 classes. The program has a school Link Coordinator and a Community Mentor, who assist participating students to enhance their prospects for success in the program and their future transition into further education, training and employment.

There are only 24 places available in the Link Program. Therefore, students are asked to submit an ‘Expression of Interest’ to ensure a fair process for all.

EOIs must be returned to Mrs McNeill in the Creative Arts staffroom by 3:25 pm Friday 22 August.

Students can collect a form from the CAPA staffroom. Parents may collect one from the front office or download a copy from the link below.
